Visual Art

All Students at Wilmot Road Primary School take part in a 60-minute Visual Arts lesson once a week.   

These lessons take place in a dedicated Specialist classroom where students have access to all the materials and equipment they need to make amazing artworks.  

Our Visual Arts program focuses on students exploring the process of creating art. Students learn through developmentally sequenced activities to encourage an understanding of the elements of art and how to incorporate them throughout their artwork. Students also learn how to plan, create, and reflect on their own and other artists’ artwork.  

Performing Arts

Students at Wilmot Primary School attend a 30-minute Performing Arts session a week. Our Performing Arts Program includes the elements of Music and Drama.  

These lessons take place in a dedicated Specialist classroom where students have access to all the space and instruments they need to engage in the creative process.  

The Performing Arts program allows students to explore and experience developmentally sequenced activities in both Music and Drama.
